Our pioneering 10-year PanAfrican women-in-tech program, Miss. Africa Digital aims to develop hands-on solutions to Africa’s many needs through innovation, technology inclusion, and techpreneurship.
We launched the FemPower community portal and network to serve the winners as well as other girls and women community members to facilitate meetups and symposiums, capacity building support, and advisory and market linkages of our members and participants to network and exchange ideas. The winners also have the opportunity to participate in a growth accelerator which includes a “Miss.Africa Digital Ambassador” program where they will benefit from sponsorship of travel opportunities to present their work in Africa as well as be part of our FemPower network. Miss.Africa winners are currently engaged in tech activities and we will be bringing you the updates as they complete.
Ms. Sithembile Ncube, our Ambassador; Miss.Africa Digital WomenInTech Program and a recipient of the prestigious Miss.Africa Digital Seed Fund award was opportune the role to represent Miss.Africa Digital’s work and her work at the Women in Tech Africa conference on 18-19 March 2019 in Cape Town, South Africa.
