Wrapping 2021 with SEED-FUND AWARD

1 Mins read

Holiday Greetings!

Whether we’ve been under a lockdown or limited to socially isolated outings, 2021 has been unlike any other year in history. It has taught us to never take anything for granted again.

It’s important to recognize and celebrate your wins. The problem with not doing so is that we lose motivation, and motivation is what keeps us on track and gives us the strength to keep going until we reach the peak.

It’s time to celebrate your victories! Get excited, celebrate, and give yourself a reward. Get excited, celebrate, and give yourself a reward.

If you are obsessed with productivity, are hard on yourself, or are too focused on the future and not constantly present, you may easily overlook some of your tiny victories. You must value them since they are essential building blocks in achieving your objectives.

As we wrap up 2021 let’s take a moment to pause, take a deep breath, appreciate, and be grateful for our wins.

Here at Fempower, our biggest win this year is wrapping up the year with a CALL FOR APPLICATIONS for our MISS. AFRICA SEED-FUND AWARD 2021.

We are working towards achieving women’s financial inclusion in Africa by supporting women and girls to launch or expand their initiatives in areas of Techprenurship, Innovation, and Digital Opportunities.

Happy Holidays, from our Fempower family to yours!

Miss.Africa Digital on Gender Equality in accordance with SDG 5.

Our Social Impact and Project Coordinator, Catherine Nduta, had a presentation on Cooperatives and Sustainable development goals in the context of Covid 19, Political crises and Economic sanctions: The Case of KENYA in Kinshasa, Congo.

This was her take on Gender Equality in accordance with SDG 5, “Women and Girls represent half of the world’s population and therefore equivalent to half of its potential. Gender disparity in STEM fields has been widely recognized especially in Africa where young girls and women are underrepresented both in economic opportunities and leadership roles. Educating girls is very crucial as this impacts the family and the entire nation. When women become the epitome of equality and justice, economies and societies thrive and unlock the full potential of the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG). Therefore, this is more reason why we should increase focus on the digital education of women and girls.”  >>READ MORE
