Congratulations on making it to the first half of the year.
It might seem like a small thing but many have given up along the way but you are still holding on. Still working on your year’s goals and doing the best you can to remain sane amidst this global pandemic.
For this reason, we should start normalizing celebrating each and every achievement whether little or big. You deserve to treat yourself to that ice cream because you completed that project you shelved for months. Acknowledge that burnout and get that needed rest that you so deserve.
If there is one thing that we can take away from the concluded mental awareness month is that our bodies will treat us right if we treat it right. Do not let others make you feel guilty for taking care of yourself. You deserve to proactively support all other elements that allow you to flourish.
Continue working towards your achievement and keep in mind what you stand to lose if you quit.
